The Department of Public Programming serves our visitors by making the Museum’s research and collections accessible, relevant, challenging, and exciting. We engage visitors in conversation and get them fired up about history. Through music, theater, demonstrations, tours, and hands-on experiences, we inspire the public to explore what it means to be an American.
