Westinghouse East Springfield, Massachusetts plant about 1926. This was about the time
of the all-AC operated receivers and the introduction of the first indirectly
heated cathode tubes in the Radiola 17. At that time, all radio manufacturers
made many of the components they needed; the rise of specialty component
producers came later."
