Gregory & Wright Refracting Telescope

This telescope has an achromatic objective lens of 2 inches aperture, a wooden tube with brass fittings, and a brass pillar and claw stand. It was made between 1782 and 1790 when Henry Gregory and Gabriel Wright were working together as opticians in London.
