Description
This is a drum microscope with rack-and-pinion focus, rectangular stage, sub-stage mirror in the cylindrical base, and wooden box with second lens. It was owned by Richard Halsted Ward (1837-1917), a noted medical microscopist, or his son, Henry B. Ward, a pioneering parasitologist
