This is one of a group of hollow wooden stands, painted black, which are designed to hold models like those produced by Ludwig Brill and Martin Schilling. It is an oval shape and has upward protrusions on two opposite sides. A paper tag on the stand reads: D41,10. A mark on the back reads: VI, 1. It is quite possibly the stand for L.
