Blunt Telescope

Description
This telescope dates from the middle decades of the nineteenth century. It has an achromatic objective, an erecting eye piece, and a brass tube covered with leather. The telescope bears the inscription "E. & G. W. Blunt, New York, Day & Night" and "U. S. Navy".
