Broadhurst, Clarkson & Co. Telescope

This telescope was probably made around 1900. It has an achromatic objective, and a tapered four-draw brass body covered with leather. Its four-element pancratic eye piece produces erect images with magnifications of 25, 30, 35 or 40 times. The telescope bears the inscription "BROADHURST. CLARKSON & CO / 63 FARRINGDON ROAD / LONDON, E.C."
