printer's cabinet unit

Description
Wooden shelf unit for holding printer's tools for Japanese printmaking, with rack above to hold brushes, suspended. The rack can be removed and packed inside with all the tools and materials.The slanted board (GA.03211.04) used for printing serves to close the unit. Paper is kept between boards (GA.03211.02a-b) on the first shelf below the top. Colors are placed on the lower shelf. See illustrations GA.03209.03-.04.
