I own a Beer tray (silver or Chrome? ) it says L. Bergdoll Brewing Cos Lager beer Philada. Pa. It was done by the Brilliant mfg co which existed at that time. It is in pristine condition for its age but can't find any info on it.

I have a beer stein depicting Louis Bergdoll. It is pristine and was given to me by my father. I am 82 years old and will give it to one of our sons. the stein is very beautiful. Further inscription reads Louis Bergdoll Philadelphia 1849 1893

"My grandfather (Charles Bergdoll Brawn) was one of Louis Bergdoll Jr.'s five children. He walked away from the brewery fortune and moved to California to get away from his draft dodger brothers. I grew up in California and last May I went to Philadelphia for the first time to see the Bergdoll brewery, meet family for the first time and visit the cemeteries. While I was there I was given some beer bottles from the brewery along with one of these advertising notebooks. Mine is 1903-04. I'm thrilled to own one!"
