Wool bunting swallowtail flag. Red field with blue union in the upper hoist corner. Union has three white stripes; two of the stripes cross diagonally to form a saltire and the third stripe, or pale, vertically bisects the saltire. One white star below the union. The white hoist has an inscription that reads "3rd Div'n 1st Brg 4th Army Corps Dept. of Cumberland."
