Wool bunting pennant flag. White field with a blue shield in the middle of the flag. Painted inside the shield is a red anchor surmounted by a white cannon. White canvas hoist has no grommets. Machine-stitched with flat-felled seams; hand overcast stitch at tail. The inscription on the hoist reads "1st Brg. 3rd Div. 9th Army Corps."
