Wool bunting pennant flag. White field with blue shield in the center of the flag. Inside the blue shield is red anchor surmounted by a white cannon. The anchor and cannon are diagonally crossed. Each corner of the flag forms a pie-shaped red triangle. The edges of the triangles that face the center of the flag are convex. White hoist with an inscription that reads "3rd Div 4th Brg 9th Army Corps."
