Designating Flag, 2nd Division, 15th Army Corps

Description:

Rectangular wool bunting flag. White field with a black cartridge box in the center of the flag. On the front flap of the cartridge box is a yellow plate or oval; "U.S" is written on this oval. Above the flag, written in an arc is the phrase "FORTY ROUNDS" in black letters. At least part of the applied decoration on the flag is painted on. White hoist with an inscription reading "2nd Div 15 Army Corps."
