Thermometer

Description:

This alcohol-in-glass thermometer is mounted horizontally on a milk-glass plate and held in a maple frame. The plate is marked "Thermometer minima nach Celsius" and the scale reads from -35 to +50 degrees. It came to the Smithsonian from Union College.
