Description:

Mercury-in-glass thermometer with white back, and scale that reads from 94 to 106 degrees F. There is a black plastic case. Inscriptions on the cardboard box read in part “THERMOMETER, HUMAN, CLINICAL, HUMAN, ORAL OR RECTAL” and “CONTRACT NO. DSA 2-1591 / KAYE THERMOMETER CORP. / 7/62.” The Kaye Thermometer Co. was located in Brooklyn, N.Y., in 1952.
