Popular Comics No. 100

Popular Comics No. 100 was published by Dell Magazine in June 1944. The cover features an image of the aviator "Smilin' Jack" looking at a map, while the lower third has images from the stories featuring "Terry and the Pirates," "Smokey Stover," and "Gang Busters." This issue also includes stories featuring "The Gumps," "Dr. Bobbs," "Felix the Cat," "Terry and the Pirates," "Smokey Stover," "Polly and her Pals," "Gasoline Alley," "Elza Poppin," and "Gangbusters."
Popular Comics published 145 issues from February 1936 through 1948. Popular Comics featured a variety of different stories during its run, often licensing content including Gasoline Alley, Felix the Cat, the radio show Gang Busters, Little Orphan Annie, and Dick Tracey.
