CONTACK is a game for two to seven people played with thirty-six triangular pieces. Each of the equilateral triangles is divided in thirds, the three isosceles triangles are colored differently, and each edge is a different color. A number is printed in each of these smaller triangles. At the beginning of the game, each player draws five pieces. Players try, by matching color and number or by matching color and making certain scoring totals to play all the pieces from their hands and make as large a score as possible. The instructions also describe solitaire versions of the game.
The blue, gold and red cardboard pieces are arranged in groups of six to form hexagons and stacked in a cardboard box. The rules also fit in the box.
Pencil marks on the box indicate that it was priced at various times to sell for 15 cents and 25 cents. A paper tag in the box gives a price of 15-, presumably 15 dollars.
A mark printed on the lid reads: COPYRIGHT 1939 (/) PARKER BROTHERS, INC. (/) SALEM, MASSACHUSETTS. Another mark there reads: FASCINATING GAME (/) *CONTACK* (/) TRADE MARK PATENT PENDING.
