Drawstring bag

Description
Small drawstring knitting bag with two blue birds facing each other who appear to be holding a small cross in their beaks. Blue checkerboard border above and below the birds. Made by French peasant women in French Lorraine during World War I. Sold in America through the Society for Employment of Women in France.
