Description:

Parcel-gilt, six-lobed circular sheet silver bowl with high-relief repousse chased clusters of fruit, including pomegranates, grapes, plums or peaches and other stone fruits, adorning the gold washed well and all lobes; no foot. Raised bead border around well. Well interior is struck incuse "800" next to a combined crescent moon and imperial crown (Reichsmark), a superimposed "GF" in six-pointed star and a "V" and three pierced hearts motif in circle. Three pseudo-hallmarks at rim interior of a crowned pinecone motif, superimposed "GF" in six-pointed star, and a fleur-de-lis motif in diamond or lozenge.
