Bonbon Basket

Bail-handled, circular filigree basket consisting of eight, everted, eight-lobed fans or shells for the sides and a pedestal base with low-domed circular foot. Designs are outlined with thin, solid strips and embellished with beaded-edge domed bosses of different sizes. Hinged handle has a six-petaled flower at bow and elongated drops forming the ends. Bowl, pedestal stem and foot are separate parts that screw together. No marks.
