Cup

Description
Handleless, raised and repoussé chased covered cup with a large ball for the knop and three feet; gilt-washed interiors. Large flowers adorn the stepped-and-domed cover and tapered cylindrical body with flared rim and rounded bottom. Edge of cover fits over rim of body. Bottom underside struck with two marks, a raised serif "N" in a circle and fleur-de-lis in a rounded shield, flanking the centerpoint; a long sawtooth line or band is stamped below.
Made in Nuremberg (Nürnberg), but fleur-de-lis maker's mark not identified.
