Cup

Description
Two-handled raised circular cup with single-reeded flared rim, slightly tapered sides with applied astragal midband, and rounded bottom on a short incurved pedestal base with an almost vertical domed foot. Two hollow cast S curve handles with flat tab thumbrests and spade-shape lower terminals. Centerpoint on bottom underside. Four effaced hallmarks struck below rim exterior, "B(C?)" in raised Old English or gothic letters, a lion passant facing left in shield, an erased date letter, and a crowned leopard's head.
