Oxidized spun tulip-shaped footed cup on a flared and molded circular pedestal base with an S-scrolled ivy handle; body is decorated with a repousse and stamped grapevine design forming a reserve on front bright cut engraved in script "E.D.H. from W.E.H. / Aug. 22, 1857." Applied molded rim and bottom edge of base, both with beading; rounded bottom is part of body. No marks.
