Beaker
- Description
- Handleless, raised cylindrical cup with applied flared rim, slightly bulging sides and almost flat bottom, engraved on exterior "AH / MEM" in foliate script. Struck once on rim exterior "KEELER" in a cut-edge or serrated rectangle. Old red-bordered white paper label on bottom underside below centerpoint.
- Maker is Joseph Keeler (1786-1824) of Norwalk, CT; working, circa 1810-1820.
