Raised oval urn-shape coffeepot with a high-domed, hinged cover topped by a cast urn finial and an 11-lobed lower body on an oval flared and stepped pedestal base. Gadrooned molding at top and bottom of concave shoulder. Spurred right-angle, C-curve handle is pinned into conical sockets. S-curve spout has D-shaped lip; body has one large opening at spout. Seamed foot is struck on opposite sides "JA" in an oval and "JAdam" in a stepped rectangle, both in raised script. Inside back shoulder (near handle) is scratched "X". Centerpunch on underside of body.
