This wooden, rectangular veneer board, depicting American motifs such as an American shield, with a cornucopia and eagle, was made by Wisconsin cabinetmaker, Peter Glass. As a farmer in Wisconsin, German immigrant, Peter Glass, applied his native training as a marquetry craftsman to make award-winning furniture.
