Description
Dessert knife. Straight steel blade with rounded tip. Blade and bolster are one piece of steel fitted into a tapered block bone handle with chamfered edges and a blunt butt. Blade is discolored and scratched, bone is yellowed and cracked near bolster.
Blade is stamped: “CELEBRATED/CUTLERY”
Celebrated Cutlery was manufactured in Germany and Austria ca 1920 and imported by George Borgfeldt & Company of New York, a wholesaler and importer active ca 1895-1927.
