Butter-Matic Electric Popcorn Popper

“Butter-matic” electric popcorn popper.
A. Molded plastic heater base, dark brown, circular, with three tapered legs; topped with Teflon-coated plate, concave, with black non-stick finish where oil and corn are placed for popping. Two flat, plastic handles on either side. Electric cord (C), attached on side near one of the handles. Underside is embossed: “WEST BEND®/4 QT. ELECTRIC CORN POPPER/CAT.NO.25467/525 WATTS 120 VOLTS AC ONLY/DO NOT IMMERSE IN WATER/81 35/SER.NO. 3/ INSTRUCTIONS/1. ADD OIL TO CENTER RING (1/4 CUP)/2. ADD 2/3 CUP CORN. COVER/3. REFER TO USE AND CARE BOOKLET FOR/ADDITIONAL INSTRUCTIONS./PRODUCT OF/THE WEST BEND COMPANY/WEST BEND, WISCONSIN 53095/MADE IN U.S.A.” Appears to be unused.
B. Clear amber plastic dome cover with butter tray at top and plastic lid; becomes a serving bowl. (Manufacturer’s paper band/label wrapped inside; sticker attached on top under lid.) Flat handles on either side.
C. Power cord. Black plastic with one end that fits into base and other end plugs into outlet.
Also includes instruction booklet, service information, registration card, and leaflet.
Maker is the West Bend Company, West Bend, Wisconsin, circa 1911-present.
