Description (Brief)
This basset horn was made by Joseph Ignaz Widmann in Freiburg, Germany around 1853 to 1857. It is a 19-keyed basset horn in F, made of maple with ivory ferrules and brass keys. The bell is missing. It is stamped:

[star] [/] WIDMANN [/] FREIBERG [/] [star]

Joseph Ignaz Widmann flourished from 1838 to 1863.
