Description (Brief)
Length of Botany Worsted Mills dress fabric, 1924. Length of worsted dress fabric in olive green heathered colorway. Warp-faced plain weave rib with heather effect against olive green of white warp yarns . Called by manufacturer "Covert Repingle" - a worsted poplin dress cloth. Similar to catalog number 5041 from the same donation, but in a covert cloth development, produced by a mixed warp yarn which gives the heathered mixture effect. Color #2556, greenish-tan. 54" wide. One of ten samples of worsted dress goods donated by Botany Worsted Mills of Passaic, New Jersey in October 1924.
