This Bobby Smith basketball card is number 149 in a series of 264 that was manufactured by the Topps Company Inc. for the 1972-1973 National Basketball Association (NBA) season. The front of the card features a posed picture of the Cleveland Cavaliers forward on a green background. The card’s reverse features a small cartoon image illustrating the factoid that “Bobby’s nickname is ‘Bingo’,” as well as a short biography and career statistics.
Bobby "Bingo" Smith played for 11 seasons in the NBA. He played for San Diego Rockets for one year, spent nine years with the Cleveland Cavaliers, and a final year with the San Diego Clippers in 1980.
