This Manny Leaks basketball card is number 74 in a series of 264 manufactured by the Topps Company Inc. for the 1973-1974 NBA season. The front of the card features a posed picture of the Philadelphia 76ers forward. The card’s reverse features a small cartoon image illustrating the factoid that “Manny excelled at the Palestra while at Niagara,” as well as a short biographical sketch and career statistics.
Emanuel "Manny" Leaks had an unsettled career. During his six-year career (1968 - 1974), Leaks played for the ABA's Kentucky Colonels, New York Nets, Dallas/Texas Chaparrals, Utah Stars, and the Floridians. After moving to the NBA in 1972, Leaks would also play for the Philadelphia 76ers and the Capital Bullets.
