Dick Van Arsdale Basketball Card

Description
This Dick Van Arsdale basketball card is number 25 in a series of 264 manufactured by the Topps Company Inc. for the 1973-1974 NBA season. The front of the card features a posed picture of the Phoenix Suns guard. The card’s reverse features a small cartoon image illustrating the factoid that “Dick was the Suns’ first selection in the 1968 expansion draft,” as well as a short biographical sketch and career statistics.
Van Arsdale played 12 seasons in the NBA, his first three with the New York Knicks, and his final nine with Phoenix. He was a three-time All-Star and had his number retired by the Phoenix Suns. Dick's twin brother, Tom Van Arsdale, also was a three-time all-star in the NBA.
