Description
These objects were collected by Brooklyn high school teacher and historian of mathematics L. Leland Locke. The eleven shaped steel pieces are flat, with an oval hole and a cylinder attached at one end. Four have a cylinder on only one side, and seven have it extend to the other side. Two were received with springs attached.
