Description:

This is a reprint of a monograph by Beth L. Wellman (1895-1952) and Boyd R. McCandless (1915-1975) of the Iowa Child Welfare Research Station. It was published in 1946 as part of the Psychological Monographs series of the American Psychological Association (volume 60 #2). It is part of a longstanding study of changes over time in the IQ of young children who receive different levels of schooling.
