Balance

Description
This is an analytical balance with a 7-inch beam, and an ivory index marked “EIMER & AMEND / NEW YORK.” The case is mahogany with glass sides. A tag on the top front reads “EIMER AND AMEND / NEW YORK 14, N.Y. U.S.A.” A brass tag at the bottom front reads “A GIFT FROM THE WOMEN’S AUXILIARY / OF THE / DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA PHARMACEUTICAL ASSOCIATION / SEPTEMBER 1948.”
