Melanie Hahnemann (1800-1878), nee Mélanie d'Hervilly Gohier, was a French aristocrat who was treated by, and then married, Samuel Hahnemann, the founder of homeopathy. After the two returned to Paris in 1835, Melanie became an accomplished homeopath.
