The form of this horseshoer's box was determined largely by
its ability to do the job. Built from a packing crate, it
was readily carried from hoof to hoof. The ruggedness of
the tools allowed them to be tossed into the tray without
harm. The box required none of the hidden doors or frills
found on other tool chests.
