employed to remove the fore-skin from the penis of an
eight-day-old Jewish boy. Use of the kit by the mohel, or
circumcisionist, follows a strict procedure that includes
prayers and blessings. Circumcision is a religious rite
among Muslims as well, and a common non-religious medical
procedure.
