Evenings at American History
Do you love history? What about the early traditions of brewing? Music history? Historical inventions that worked (or didn’t)? What about discovering amazing stories, unsung heroes, and inspiring moments that connect lessons from the past to present day?
Introducing Evenings at American History, where we bring together the power of Smithsonian research, collections, and experts at the National Museum of American History for fascinating evening experiences for all curious adults. Whatever your point of interest, evening events vary monthly but always pack a powerful experience exploring some facet of our national, personal, and shared histories.
Evenings at American History range from ticketed events that include food and drink, to special free conversations with iconic guests, to concerts, to free panel conversations with experts, and more. New evenings are shared each month by email through the museum's Event Calendar, as well as posted here and on the museum's Facebook page.
