Conservators have many tricks of their trade--and most, if not all, were employed in the care and preparation of objects for the Museum's newest exhibition, 'On The Water,' opening May 22.
Conservators Mary Coughlin and Michelle Savant provide a quick introduction to the art of conservation and then discuss two specific treatments utlized on a ship model and a lacquered trunk.
