An evening of beer history, great tastes, and friends from the weekend

Toast to the end of another great Smithsonian Food History Weekend while you explore histories in American beer. Enjoy a live conversation with brewers, historians, and experts curated by the museum's brewing historian, Theresa McCulla. After the talk, sample craft beers poured by participating breweries, try your hand at some brewing-inspired activities, and explore historical objects from our brewing history collections.
This event is part of the Museum’s American Brewing History Initiative.
Tickets to the After Hours include: a complimentary Smithsonian Food History tasting glass, tastings at all brewery stations, and a hearty plate of appetizers courtesy of the museum’s chef.
Tickets will go on sale in August 2018.
