PERFORMANCE. "Bon Appétit!"
Kenneth Slowik conducted soprano D'Anna Fortunato and a chamber ensemble in a presentation of Lee Hoiby's rarely performed short opera (with libretto by Julia Child), taken from The French Chef cooking lesson for 'Gateau au Chocolat L'Eminence Brune.' The performance was preceded by J.S. Bach's Coffee Cantata.
