Object 13 [of 66] – Needlework sign, "Bon Appetit" Julia always ended her first television cooking show with the classic French good wishes—"Bon Appetit!" to diners about to begin their meal. A friend made a needlework sign for her kitchen with her then famous signature farewell. It is a phrase so associated with her, that the Smithsonian used the phrase in the title of its exhibition of her kitchen.
