Object 43 [of 66] – "Spoonery" Not only did Julia like items of everyday use handy–that is, easily reachable and conveniently out–but she often labeled those things and their containers so that the hundreds of other people who also cooked and helped in the kitchen would put those those things back in their place. Over the Garland Range, where she kept cooking utensils of everyday use, spoons returned to their "Spoonery," so designated by a masking tape label on their stoneware crock, forks to their "Forkery", spatulas to the container of "Spats", and wooden things to "Mostly Wood."
