In this set of cyanotypes (above), there are no lateral views mounted with the front and rear foreshortenings, although they appear in the top row of the final collotype. The foreshortened views are taken by two cameras with 12 lenses each, placed at 30- and 60-degree angles from the track. The lateral, or parallel views, are single frames, each from one of the 12 cameras timed in sequence at a 90-degree angle from the subject. In this series, problems with the original frame 6 in both foreshortenings are resolved by omitting the frames and renumbering the remaining. The standard identification label indicates a Series Neg. No. 1388, which also has been noted in pencil on each cyanotype strip.

Roll your mouse over the highlighted frames for a closer look.
