The Peterbilt model 359 was built for highway use. It was part of Werner Enterprise's fleet from 1984 until 1987. Cecil Curry, a long-time driver for Werner, drove it through many parts of the nation including the southeast, southwest, midwest and northwest and in may kinds of weather conditions. When Mr. Curry was not loading, unloading, or driving the truck, he was doing "bookwork"-filling out his log book. While driving he would tune into the CB radio to find out what the traffic was like and especially what the weather was doing. "Running up and down the road [it] keeps you more alert." During his three years with the truck, he loaded and unloaded industrial parts and consumer goods. Maybe your breakfast cereal was delivered to your city by Mr. Curry.
