"The 47,160 KW Snettisham Project serves the Juneau area and will be completed in two phases. The first phase of the project was the development of the power of Long Lake and was completed in 1975. The second phase of the project will develop Alaska's Crater Lake near the Snettisham Plant. Alaska Power Administration (APA) operates, maintains, and markets power from Alaska's two federal hydroelectric projects (Snettisham and Eklunta)."
