Role in Museum:

I work with the Associate Director for Education and Public Engagement and support our Office’s various departments and activities including interpretation, education & outreach, new media, and visitor experience.

I also serve as teaching collections manager.

Prior to joining the NMAH, I served as program specialist at the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute’s Development Office, based in Washington DC.  Previously, I served as collections intern at the National Museum of the American Indian and as curatorial intern at National Air and Space Museum.

I volunteered in the National Museum of American Indian’s Mall Library assisting researchers and museum visitors explore and find answers in the museum’s book and digital collections.

I am a team member working on:

  • Object Project: everyday things that changed everything
  • Conference Center Teaching Collections exhibit

These exhibits are part of the renovation of the museum's West Wing and the creation of an Education Center.
