Role in Museum:

I work with the Associate Director of Education and Public Engagement and support our Office’s various departments and activities including interpretation, education and outreach, new media, and visitor experience.

I am a team member working on the renovation of the Education Center in the West Wing of the museum.  One of my projects is to assess and develop the Teaching Collections.

Prior to joining the NMAH, I served as program specialist at the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute’s Development Office, based in Washington DC.  Previously, I served as collections intern at the National Museum of the American Indian and as curatorial intern at National Air and Space Museum.

I volunteered in the National Museum of American Indian’s Mall Library assisting researchers and museum visitors explore and find answers in the museum’s book and digital collections.
