At last mails begin to arrive again, and our R.R. are using sleighs, have awful trouble with the Kaiser Wilhelm arrangements, work in evg til 12 oclock wife + Frl. being at “Kean” by Barnay | |

Delegates of Emperor festival divide tickets at my office. Call on John Bigelow to deliver Oration in english, he promises to consider. |

St. Patrick’s day, lovely weather although large mounds of snow are piled up on the grounds my R.R. are again in full running condition Meeting of Creditors of F. Grote, I preside pitch heavily into Grote & Kapp, finally it is resolved as the sense of the Meeting to allow the Creditors to go on under Chas. H. Steinway, Receiver for a while. In ev’g at Masken Kränzchen of L.K. splendid, home at 4 AM | |

Lovely day. Yesterday John Bigelow accepted, Bancroft from Washington and Andrew D. White from N. Orleans decline worked at store in forenoon. Rehearsal of Memorial festival at St. Hall + session of delegates. Work home in ev’g, Fritz & H. Z. call | |
